ABC provided television press with a lineup that confirmed Iggy Azalea for the November 20 “Good Morning America.” The same confirmation appeared in listings issued to television providers.

Despite the listings, neither “Good Morning America” nor Azalea had confirmed the performance on their social media accounts. Speculation emerged, therefore, that the performance was no longer scheduled.

A “GMA” staffer seemingly confirmed that unfortunate news. Responding to a Thursday inquiry on Twitter, “GMA” social media editor Jeff Lowe wrote, “As of now she isn’t scheduled to perform tomorrow.”

When asked why she was originally listed, he responded, “probably was originally slated to perform. Scheduling changes a lot in tv.” He acknowledged that he had no further details on the situation.

While a surprise Azalea performance is certainly still possible, one should be aware of the possibility that the performance has been nixed.

A stacked, action-packed, celebratory week of “Good Morning America” will include a performance by Iggy Azalea.

Per ABC’s official listings, Azalea will perform on the November 20 edition of its popular morning show. The episode will also feature appearances by “The Hunger Games: Mockingjay, Part 2” stars Natalie Dormer and Sam Claflin, a preview of Jim Henson’s “Turkey Hollow,” and “Shark Tank Friday” with Barbara Corcoran.

Earlier in the week, “GMA” will celebrate its 40th anniversary with a 40-hour, continuous broadcast entitled “40 for 40.” The special will begin at 5PM ET on Tuesday, November 17.

The Wednesday morning portion of the broadcast will feature appearances by Jennifer Lawrence, Liam Hemsworth, Josh Hutcherson, Donald Sutherland, and “Mockingjay: Part 2” director Francis Lawrence. It will also play host to a special One Direction concert.

Why does this irk me so much?

Iggy Azalea’s fiancé and Los Angeles Lakers player Nick Young decided to dress up as something, erm, cocky for Halloween this year: God’s Gift to Women. To pull off this forward-as-hell get-up, Nick wrapped himself as a literal present—red bow and all—and addressed the ensemble “To: Women/From: God.”

I’m not an idiot. The costume is supposed to be funny. It’s kitschy, and I’m sure Nick did it with the best intentions. He isn’t pushing any type of womanizing agenda, and I know Iggy has nothing to actually raise her eyebrows about. This is harmless.

We could barely find one positive reaction to the proposed remake, with a few people claiming that the only acceptable cover would include Queen Bey, Nicki Minaj, Lady Gaga and Rihanna.

Ora’s dream team? Miley Cyrus, Charlie XCX and Iggy Azalea. – Cover Media picLOS ANGELES, October 13 – Sorry Rita Ora, Iggy Azalea has no interest in doing another “Lady Marmalade” remake with you. Turns out, Azalea isn’t the only one who dislikes Ora’s remake idea.

She spoke to the outlet, saying, “I’m trying to round up the troops”. “Please leave lady marmalade alone Rita“.

Meanwhile, in a now-deleted tweet, the Aussie rapper’s “Fancy” collaborator said that she would be “down” with updating the classic soul hit.

Rita Ora announced yesterday that she plans to recreate the iconic Lady Marmalade song and video, which resulted in unanimous disapproval from around the globe. It was then remade in 2001 by Missy Elliott, Lil’ Kim, Christina Aguilera, Mya and Pink to accompany the film Moulin Rouge, starring Nicole Kidman and Ewan McGregor.

Iggy Azalea has been pretty quiet musically this year.

After a huge 2014, she’s done some collabs here and there — including with Demi Lovato and Britney Spears — but we haven’t heard new solo music, she cancelled her tour, and she’s taken some breaks from social media.

But the Australian MC is back on Twitter these days, and has been back in the studio, too. On Tuesday night, she gave fans an assortment of tidbits about her upcoming releases, from her album title to when we can expect her single.

Here’s what you need to know.

Her album is called Digital Distortion.

Iggy Azalea may be the most widely shat-on artist rapper of our time, but her overall musical catalogue is actually somewhat respectable. Exhibit A — her 2011 debut mixtape Ignorant Art, produced entirely by Ty Dolla $ign-helmed production collective D.R.U.G.S. (Dirty Rotten Underground Sound).

According to Azalea, she’s bringing D.R.U.G.S. back into the fold to produce her entire sophomore album. She revealed the info to the paparazzi while strutting through L.A.X. “I just been doing my whole album with the guys I did my first mixtape with actually, and we’re almost finished and it’s been super cool working with my whole friends,” she said.

Wise move by Azalea. In addition to Ty, D.R.U.G.S. comprises of DJ Dahi, Fuego, Buddah, James Koo, Nate 3D and Ignorant Art exec. producer Chordz 3D.

Ice Cube has defended Iggy Azalea amidst rumours she doesn’t write her own tracks, insisting she makes ”dope songs”.

The ‘Check Yo Self’ hitmaker has defended the ‘Fancy’ rapper amidst rumours she doesn’t write her own tracks.

He told the Daily Mail Australia: ”She make dope songs, that’s what it is all about.

”It’s not about how the song gets made, it’s about what comes out of the speaker. If she can be hot coming out of the speaker, who cares what it took to make it.

”It’s a difference between a rapper and an MC. Some MCs are battle rappers and they need to write their own lyrics but if you are just rapping out there, songs by committee have been the history of music.

”Every great song that you hear has probably been put together by a few people, not just one soul.”

Meanwhile, the 25-year-old beauty previously insisted her haters make her ”relevant”.

After being criticised for joining Demi Lovato on stage at the MTV Video Music Awards, she wrote on Twitter: ”who cares it shows im very relevant in their lives still. im flattered. hahaha (sic)”.

She later added: ”Its funny to see i was trending WW [worldwide], man. haters got SO MUCH to say. I was only on stage 30 seconds! Wait till my new s**t drops, its 4 mins long! hahahahahaha….

”its really tough to stick by someone when the ”cool” thing is to hate on them. thanks to everyone who made the choice to stand by me. (sic)”.
