Iggy Azalea and Nick Jonas have both had a full and massively successful 2014. Iggy became a household name and one of the music industry’s hottest tickets, while Nick launched his solo career since his days in the Jonas Brothers and went platinum with his single “Jealous.”

Now as 2014 is coming to a close, the two are looking forward to a busy 2015, including hitting the road together on Iggy’s scheduled tour.

The announcement was made on twitter when Iggy posted, “”what I’m trying to say is: @nickjonas is my special guest on tour next year.”

Nick replied with, “@IGGYAZALEA let’s do this.”

This could be one of the more random tour match ups, but we won’t be surprised when every dates sells out because of both names on the bill.

Iggy Azalea has taken to her Twitter account to address the Ferguson and Eric Garner issues after Azealia Banks called her out for remaining silent on the topic.

“its funny to see people Like Igloo Australia silent when these things happen… Black Culture is cool, but black issues sure aren’t huh?” Azealia wrote on Wednesday evening (December 3).

“ I see all hell broke loose while I was at rehearsals today,” Iggy tweeted soon after and then returned to Twitter a few hours later with a very well-thought out response.

Iggy Azalea, Lorde, Meghan Trainor and Taylor Swift complement each other perfectly in DJ Earworm’s giddy, just-released “United State of Pop 2014” mash-up. As usual, the California producer’s annual pop mega mix combines 25 of the biggest hits of the past calendar year, including the above singers’ “Fancy,” “Team,” “All About That Bass” and, of course, “Shake It Off,” respectively. It also features snippets of DJ Snake and Lil Jon’s “Turn Down for What,” Ariana Grande’s “Problem,” A Great Big World and Christina Aguilera’s “Say Something” and Magic!’s “Rude” among many others.

“The thing that has been most notable in the past two or three years is the decline of EDM,” Earworm told Billboard, which premiered the new mix. “The ‘United State of Pop’ became this dance track from ’09 to ’12, and then starting last year, there just wasn’t enough in that genre to fully support it, so I went down-tempo.

“And this year, ‘Timber,’ which was popular in January, is the only popular dance track I’m dealing with,” he continued. “It’s definitely down-tempo, so you have to decide, how is this going to go? How am I going to maintain the energy levels while being true to the sound of the year?”

The producer, who has been making the annual mash-up since 2007, called this year’s the “most blended instrumental I’ve been able to achieve yet.” Last year’s mix featured tracks by everyone from Avicii to Miley Cyrus, while the previous year’s blended Adele with Flo Rida. Ultimately, he described the 2014 mix as being “more diverse” and “definitely softer” than previous installments.

As previously mentioned, Spotify announced their year-end findings of what was most popular musically around the world, and they’ve done the same for the United States. While some artists are certainly beloved the world over, every country has their own tastes, and some of what was listened the most in the US is not the same as what the rest of the planet was hearing.

Iggy Azalea’s “Fancy (ft. Charli XCX)” comes in at number one on the list of the most streamed songs, surprising nobody in the process. The rapper’s big break was a hit around the world, especially in the US, where it spent over a month on top. The ode to all things glamorous was later named the Song of the Summer, and the Australian rapper now holds the distinction of being one of only two women to have three top ten hits at the same time (the other being Ariana Grande, who achieved the feat at the same time)—one of which was “Fancy”.

Azalea actually has two spots in the top five most streamed tracks in the US this year, as she is featured on Ariana Grande’s “Problem”, which is number four. In between her two slots are Katy Perry with “Dark Horse” and Pharrell Williams’ “Happy”, which is also the world’s most listened to song on Spotify this year. Rounding out the top five is John Legend’s first number one “All of Me”.

Thanks to the success of “Fancy”, Iggy’s album The New Classic is the second most streamed album in the US of 2014, following Ed Sheeran’s unbeatable sophomore release X, which takes the number one place in America and with the rest of the world. Behind these two are Sam Smith’s debut record In The Lonely Hour, OneRepublic’s Native, and Ariana Grande’s My Everything, which this August became her second number one album in less than a year.

Despite having the number one most streamed song and album (respectively) this year, neither Iggy Azalea nor Ed Sheeran appear on the list of the top five artists with the most streams. Taking their places are commercial favorites Eminem, Drake, Kanye West, Lana Del Rey, and Ariana Grande.

Aside from some obvious chart-toppers and mega smashes, Spotify is also pretty good at detecting what will be a hit in the future, based on streaming happening before radio or sales numbers pick up. The Swedish company measured the “most viral” tracks of the year, with newcomer Hozier’s debut hit “Take Me To Church” coming in at number one for both America and the rest of the world. Following him is the Glass Animals track “Gooey”, MisterWives’ “Reflections”, “Coffee” by Sylvan Esso, and the wonderful Danish singer MØ with her song “Say You’ll Be There”.

One of the newest and hottest female rap stars in the game, Iggy Azalea, is coming to Bovard Auditorium on December 4 as part of the 2014 Yahoo On the Road tour.

Iggy’s most popular single, “Fancy” featuring Charlie XCX, was released in April of 2014 and stayed at No. 1 on Billboard’s Hot 100 for seven weeks. “Fancy” quickly became the go-to party song of the summer and her follow up release “Black Widow” feat. Rita Ora was also a hit on the airwaves.

Iggy is no stranger to USC, as her current boyfriend and Lakers’ superstar Nick Young, is a former Trojan himself. Young, or ‘Swaggy P’ as his teammates call him, was seen on campus this past Tuesday watching his alma mater play Cal State Fullerton. Once Young entered the Galen Center, the in-game DJ proceeded to serenade him with a few of Iggy’s songs.

Here’s hoping Swaggy P will also make an appearance at her concert.

The increasingly popular rap star, Azalea, had a busy summer performing at popular music festivals such as Budweiser Made in America, Lollapalooza and iHeartRadio Music Fest.

Iggy is set to a draw a huge crowd at USC, but in case you can’t make it to the venue, you can stream the concert live on Yahoo On the Road tour’s homepage.

If you are a USC student and would like tickets to this event, we have been informed you should visit one of the purple Yahoo! buses that are near the USC campus. Feel free to send us a picture, if you see one.

If you are not USC student but would still like to see Iggy’s performace you can live stream it here.

Every relationship has stages, and since they got together as a couple, Iggy Azalea and Nick Young have gone through a few of them. There was publicly opening up about their relationship; Nick coming to his lady’s defense in her feud with Snoop Dogg; and buying a house together.

Over the Thanksgiving holiday, they took things to a new level: Parents meeting parents.

Anyone who’s been in that situation knows it can be nerve-racking for all parties involved — and the Los Angeles Laker wasn’t immune to those emotions.

“It felt like a lot of pressure on me,” the Cali native said in an interview after the Lakers’ win on Sunday night, in a video posted on LakersNation. “We didn’t know how it was gonna go. I know my mom is outgoing, and she gets along with pretty much everybody.”

Things sound like they went over pretty smoothly for the parents — it was just the lovebirds who had issues.

“Me and Iggy is probably the only one that got into an argument — about the wishbone in the turkey,” he joked. “Of course, you gotta let the women win, sometimes — especially with her parents around, you gotta let ‘em win.”

Just like in the NBA: Can’t win ‘em all.

When hip-hop artist and producer T.I. met female rapper Iggy Azalea, she had him at “hello.” The multiplatinum artist says his first conversation with Iggy in 2012 convinced him that this relatively unknown Australian recording artist was the next big thing.

“I mean initially, like at hello, I saw just an undeniable, tenacious will to dominate,” T.I. says in the above web exclusive from his “Oprah: Where Are They Now?” appearance. “I knew upon meeting her that, you know, with the proper application of skill and an adequate amount of strategy, that she would have an ability to go where no one has ever gone and do things that no person has ever done.”

He teamed up with Iggy and signed on to executive produce her debut album, “The New Classic.” Since then, she’s been topping the charts with hits like “Fancy,” “Work” and “Black Widow.”

T.I. says this is only the beginning of Iggy’s rise. “Like where she is now, although she is just incredibly impressive, the amount of trajectory that she has gained, in the amount of time it’s taken, it is epic,” he says. “It is just incredible.”

Along with managing up-and-coming artists on his label, Grand Hustle Records, the Grammy-winning hip-hop artist recently released his ninth album, “Paperwork,” and stars in the VH1 reality show, “T.I. and Tiny: The Family Hustle.” Watch T.I. talk about why he tells his kids everything about his controversial past.
