Iggy Azalea has been teasing fans with snippets of her new music and it seems like the artist is just as excited about the upcoming project as her admirers. She hopped on social media to dish about the second album, which is on a whole new level, according to her online musing.

She started by humbly trashing her other material, propping up the upcoming album as her best work yet. “F*ck. I’m really proud of my album. It shits on 95% of everything I’ve ever made & its only half done. #InMyDefense.” She attributed this impending success to her collaboration with J White, a pairing she calls a “Dream Duo.”

Her location seems to have had an impact on her creative flow as well. Apparently, being back in Atlanta makes her feel grounded. “I’m so so soooo happy I moved back to Atlanta I feel like my old self. It’s wierd [sic],” she wrote.

She later explained the challenges posed by the West Coast in conjunction with her celebrity status. “I LOVE LA… but the media element of it was fucking me up so bad,” Iggy tweeted. “I’m just now seeing how much better iam [sic] creatively when I’m not draining my energy stressing dumb shit like papz.” The album does not have an official release date yet, but Iggy is aiming for next spring.

Despite getting caught up in drama with Bhad Bhabie recently, Iggy Azalea isn’t letting that affect her music. On Tuesday (Dec. 11), the 28-year-old rapper previewed new music on Instagram.
In the video, Iggy is seen rocking out to her new track while accompanied by some friends in the studio. As Iggy bops her head to the beat, two ladies join in by dancing to her latest offering. In the caption for the post, she tags producer J. White Did It, who previously worked on Cardi B’s singles “Bodak Yellow,” “I Like It” and “Money.”

“The ONLY snippet I’m posting #InMyDefense #SallyWalker ‍♀️ @jwhitedidit @thatsthe_tiger @ahsiajanae,” Iggy wrote as her Instagram caption.
Although Iggy only offers a preview, it’s still enough to get a taste of what’s to come. On the uptempo beat, Iggy makes reference to the children’s rhyme and dance game Little Sally Walker.
“Lil’ Sally Walker uh, shake it proper uh/Bend it over make it wobble uh, gotta lotta buns/Pick it up and drop it uh, for the proper funds,” she raps.

In addition to previewing new music, Iggy is focused on securing the bag. Last month, the Aussie rhymer revealed that she signed a multi-million dollar deal with EMPIRE. According to her, she’s looking forward to her new partnership.
“I’m so excited to begin a new entrepreneurial chapter in my career with EMPIRE as my partner,” the “Booty” rapper said. “The ability to have control of my own artistic future is a long-awaited and monumental change in my life. I genuinely feel I am in the best position to achieve my creative ambitions.”

The ‘Fancy’ rapstress launched a scathing tweet attack at talk show host Wendy Williams after she commented on Iggy’s recent feud with Bhad Bhabie, which saw the 15-year-old hurl a drink at Iggy’s head.

Iggy Azalea isn’t taking any heat from Wendy Williams. The ‘Fancy’ rapper fired back at the talk show host following her comments on the rapper’s beef with Bhad Bhabie.

Last week, Iggy and the 15-year-old starlet, real name Danielle Bregoli, exchanged shots over social media, before their feud came to a head when Bregoli threw a drink at Iggy at Cardi B’s Fashion Nova launch party.

Iggy, 28, spoke about the incident on Instagram after the event and took jabs at Bregoli, before detailing the altercation on Twitter. Bregoli fired back on Instagram, and, later, Wendy Williams waded in.

On her eponymous talk show, Williams questioned Iggy’s Australian accent and made comments on the the rapper’s body, before arguing that Iggy is too old to be beefing with Bregoli.

“Isn’t she from Australia? When did she develop a ‘blaccent’?” Williams began. “She probably bought that at the same place she bought her booty and her boobs. Oh please, that is a coin well spent.”

Despite later adding that she finds Iggy “beautiful”, the ‘Black Widow’ rapper wasn’t having it, and went on to slam Williams in a series of tweets. “Imagine having to f*ck Wendy Williams,” she wrote.

She attached a gif of Williams dressed as the Statue Of Liberty during the infamous episode where she passed out last year. “Like you gotta hear her moan and put a t*tty in your mouth.”

“I guess I just feel like if you’re pushing 60 without ever having lived an entire year on this planet where we could deem you attractive let alone a serve with a voice that would make any d*ck soft – you should keep it a whole lot cuter on certain commentary,” she added.

Iggy has since deleted the tweets, and Williams is yet to comment. The 54-year-old personality recently came under fire from rapper Future after she commented on his recent relationship issues.

Iggy Azalea, who in early November announced she’d “officially unsigned” with Island Records, has via a number of tweets announced a new record deal worth US$2.7 million (A$3,6 million).

It apparently involves a custom label and allows her to be totally independent – something which she stressed she wanted when she parted ways with Island.

“Proud to say I literally just signed my new deal/partnership!,” she tweeted.

“2.7mil, can sign others, own my masters + 100% independent – I’m feeling like such a bossy grown ass bitch today! Time to get back to ME. I’m so grateful & excited…”

According to one tweet, “I OWN MY OWN MASTERSSSSS bitchhhhhhhhh turn the fuck up!”

An official announcement follows this week, the Australian-born rapper said.

Azalea is moving to Atlanta to finish off some recording, with new music expected in early 2019.

She earlier told fans, “I am nowhere near ready direction wise etc with the stuff I’ve been working on and I don’t wanna jump the gun and have some messy era aesthetically.

“I’m aiming to be ready to share new music early next year!”

The parting from Island after six months capped off a strange 2018 for the rapper, which included her being put in a facility in Arizona by her management concerned over her mental health, lacklustre response to two singles, and a North American tour cancelled by Live Nation speculatively due to low ticket sales.

After her Island split, the 26-year old received a proposal by a US porn company Bang Bros.

The offer went, “You should sign with us. “Ass Parade would never be the same.”

Azalea responded: “Disgusting on so many level. It’s creepy and fake pimp vibes to even approach women ’bout this sorta shit unsolicited.”

Last week, Azalea made more news for wrong reasons when she crossed paths with 15-year old rapper Bhad Bhabie (Danielle Bregoli) at Cardi B’s fashion label launch in Hollywood.

The two had thrown shade at each other on social media days before when Iggy asked on Instagram if a friend was attending a show on the teen’s upcoming tour.

Bharbie sniffed: “U should come. Would be a good memory for u of what a sold-out show looks like,” citing Azalea’s cancelled tour.

After the teenager drenched half of Azalea’s locks, the rapper called security and had her removed.

She said she was too “grown up” to worry about a teenager wanting to “make name for herself acting a d– fool on television and online.”

She continued: “I came to get a check. I left with a check. You left with your bag stuffed over there. And you look silly.

“I’m not going to be scrambling around on the floor for a 15-year-old girl on the Internet.”
